Southend in Transition Community Allotment
Where you can learn how to grow food, look after your garden, take fresh produce home, meet new people over a shared meal and exchange ideas on how to help the community thrive.
Taster Days
Sat 10/09 Sat 10-14
Another chance to come along and join us at the allotment to learn more about the project and enjoy our lovely plot. Do a little work and get lunch and a share of what we harvest.
We’ll be joined by a bunch of compost worms and you can take some home to activate your pile of greens.
This week we’ll be creating a living willow structure. Plus we hope to work out our planting plan for autumn/ winter and next spring. Gardening is all about planning ahead and having faith in the future. And it makes you feel good!
